First off, I hope you and your family and friends are staying safe and healthy as we all navigate the monumental moment we find ourselves in with Covid19. The unthinkable is now normal. The economy is frozen, and we are all camped out in our homes for weeks on end.

And the big question on almost everyone’s mind at the moment is: When does it end?

I’ve spent a significant amount of time over the past couple of weeks reading every business strategy forecast I can access. Reading medical journals. Talking to doctors, industry leaders, and just regular lawyers around the country. Deep dives into the weeds of data. It’s taken me a long time to put my thoughts down. I’ve revised this post over 40 times at this point. But at some point, you have to set the pen (keyboard) down and pull the trigger.

In our current moment, economic health and public health are complexly intertwined. There is no separating them. Because this is the major issue of the day, and I want to make sure everyone is as informed as possible. Your interpretation of our situation could vary wildly from mine. Predictions are tricky. The below is meant to provide a starting point, to help you be informed, and make intelligent decisions (guesses!) about the future.

What does economic recovery look like? (and when)

I welcome thoughts/feedback on the Twitters.

P.S. – Aside, this is also my first post at Case Status. Covid19 hit right as it was happening so I didn’t get to share that I recently became their Chief Marketing Officer. No worries though, I’ll still be blogging here at Associate’s Mind and running LawyerSmack
